I Love Maxi

18 x 24 cm
My son Max and I had a lot of fun drawing on paper.  I would say "I" and write it on the paper, and he said it after me.  Then I drew a heart and said "love".  He repeated "love".   The last part I wrote his name, and together we would say with gusto... "Maxi!"  We did it over and over until the paper was full of. . .  I "heart" Maxi.

Matter of Opinions

15 x 10 cm
It's good to have opinions.  They give us personality and identity.  We just need to balance them out.  For instance, these cookies.  The store we were shopping at one day had a different brand than we had been buying, and I thought I would like them because they were similar.  I didn't.  I'm not a real picky person, but I'm glad I have opinions, and so I buy these cookies at the store.

In Light Of

18 x 24 cm
I was moving the pitcher, the light, and the backdrop trying to get nice highlights on the copper pitcher, without success.  The thought came that it had been awhile since the pitcher was polished, so I polished it.  Now it could shine.

Ski

18 x 18 cm

We were watching a movie.  They were showing a lot of snow.
One of us said:  We can't live there.
The other one said:  Why not? It's beautiful there.
One said: There's too much snow in the winter.
The other said:  But I could go skiing.
One said: It's ok to ski on snow, but not live in snow.

Then there's the city/country thing....
