Ravel began with a simple tune and repeated it a number of times without any development, gradually adding instruments. Boléro, though simple, was a sensational success.
Love this, Caladh! The carving on the scroll work is lovely, great values. And I love how the tuning pegs are turned at different angles. Very interesting painting.
